The last two days here on Cape Cod were foggy and misty...perfect weather for water drops to form on spider webs. I could've taken pictures all day and I would still have been able to take more, it was wonderful



...Then today, the sun was out and some water drop still remained on a few spider webs, and the drops were reflecting rainbows in the sunlight!



Not every rainbow is in the sky, sometimes you have to look for them

Another summer, another 7 hour journey to Moosehead Lake. I just went this past week and had an amazing time. It was magical and inspiring, and just wonderful. I love getting to know members of my family that I don't get to see very often, and a very good friend of mine came along this time also. The weather was amazing, the views were incredible, and it was soooooo relaxing...and we met a new friend named Chippy I miss it already.

I went to Moosehead Lake last summer, which is in Maine near the Quebec border. This lake is HUGE, and gorgeous. The water is crystal clear, and the trees are a wonderful variety of rich greens. Most of the surrounding land is deep, thick forest, so at night when you look out over the lake, you see nothing; literally. No lights shining from across the water, no boats going by. Speaking of boats, even during the day you could sit for hours watching the beautiful sky that never disappoints, reflecting on the water and you will not see a boat. Here are some gorgeous images of Moosehead Lake, that cannot do this magical place justice.
